Drawing Life - (Giving each postings a title)

I don't think I am a naturally-born artist, but I have learnt throughout the years to appreciate the delicate nuances of art around me. I have been thinking about how breathe life into the drawings/sketches I have made. Like if you are drawing from what you see from a model standing before you, how are you going to translate that realistic feel onto the paper.

Well I guess first and foremost, you have to make sharp observations of the model before you. And train your intuition as your mind tells you where and when to make that line a curved one or a straight one. Another important aspect is lighting, like which areas are the darkest and lightest. I really have to thank Mr Dilip Sir for teaching me the basics of all that is about drawing and patiently guiding me and answering my questions.

About a month ago, I was doing outdoor sketching and I drew trees using charcoal on paper. Here it is......
